or howsoever as fully and amply to all intents Construccons and
purposes as wee our self might doe if wee were then and there
personally prsent to doe the same, as also for us and in our
name and as often as he shall finde it necessary from time to
time to call assemble and sumon any Generall Assembly or
Generall Assemblyes of the freemen of our said Province or
of their Deputyes or Delegates for the giving of the Advice
assent and approbation of the ffreemen of our said Province to
such Lawes and Acts as shalbe by us at any time ordained
made and Enacted and under our Seale published, and unto
which the advice assent and approbation of the ffreemen of
our said Province shalbe at any time requisite and necessary
and the said Generall Assembly and Assemblyes so from time
to time called assembled and summoned or to be called
assembled or summoned from time to time when and as often
as he shall Judge it necessary in our name to prorouge or
otherwise to desolve at his pleasure, and likewise for us and
in our name and in our absence from our said Province to
ordeine make and Enact by and with the advice assent and
approbation of any such Assembly or Assemblyes so called
assembled or summoned as aforesaid to be of force untill wee
our self or our heirs and assignes Lords and Proprietaryes of
the said Province shall declare and publish or cause to be
declared or published within our said Province or his their or
some of their particuler dissent or dissents, Disagreemt or
Disagreemts to the same under our his their or some of their
seale or seales so as the said Lawes and Acts so to be
ordained made and Enacted be Consonant to Reason and be
not Repugnant or Contrary but as neare as Conveniently may
be agreeable to the Lawes statutes and Customes of the
Kingdome of England, and so as the same be no wayes
Repugnant unto or Destructive of our Rights priviledges or
Jurisdictions, or to the Disinherison of us our heires or
assignes Lords and Proprietaryes of the said Province or con-
trary to our or their power govermt or Dominion, or Contra-
dictory to a certeine Act of Assembly heretofore made in the
nineteenth yeare of our Dominion Annoq One Thousand six
hundred and fifty Entituled an Act Concerning Religion, and
likewise wee doe further give and graunt unto our said Deare
Sonne during the time of his Exercise of the said Office afore-
said full power and authority from time to time to make con-
stitute ordaine and publish in our name such wholesome

Reasonable and pfitable ordinances Edicts and proclamacons
within our said Province for the better Government of the
people there inhabiting and with such Reasonable paines and
penaltyes to be therein Expressed as wee ourself might law-
fully doe if wee were then and there personally prsent And
