To Major William Boareman
Immediately upon sight hereof you are to raise a sufficient
guard for William Boareman and those shall come with him
who is herewith sent to apprehend some Nanjemy Indians
suspected to have a hand in the murder of some English about
Point Lookeout, and with that guard to see the said Boare-
man and the prisoners (if apprehended) safely conveyed out
of your County to the house of the sd Boareman in St Maries
County or other such place of security neere the Mill in
Charles County as he the said Boareman shall direct, hereof
faile not as you will answer the contrary at your perill. Given

Coll Calvert acquaints the board that he had three Indians
hunted for him whereupon issued also the foll ordrs :
When pursuant to a former ordr from us and Councill to
you directed this Day you shall make Demand of the two
Indians that hunted for Coll William Calvert and were lately
at a warr Dance at Piney Neck with the Nanjatico Indians,
you are at the same time also to Demand a third Indian
named Mr Richard who also hunted for the said Coll Calvert,
and him soe apprehended you are to bring downe with the
other two to St Maries before us and Councill with all Con-
venient speed. Given under our hand and seale this 25th Day
of June 1681:
