ing for Deare or Turkeys, that the said Johnson did enquire of
me if I did heare of the Irish that was to come into this Pro-
vince, which I did reply that I did not heare of any, then the
said Henry Johnson replyed there is ffourty ffamilys to come
in under the pretence of seateing Susquehannah River, but
that ffourty ffamilys will proove in the End to be ffourty thou-
sand to cutt the Protestants throats ffor it is onely a plott
betwixt my Lord and that Irish fellow Talbott and that we
shall find, but I hope that the Parliamt of England will prevent
their purposes or that they will sink by the way in comeing
for I doe not desire their Company soe nigh me

This information was sworne into upon the holy Evangelist
to be just and true and not done out of Malice or any Envy
the Deponent had to the party accused the fifth Day of March
Annoq Domini 1680: before me John Waterton one of his
Ldspps Justices for the County of Baltemore. In witness whereof
I have hereunto sett my hand the Day and yeare abovesaid
John Waterton
Summons thereon issued to the Sheriff of Baltemore County
for the said Henry Johnson to appeare at Councill table the
Saturday before Whitsunday Where also John Mold was also
to appeare to make good the Information
