Maryland ss:
Ordered that the Clark of Baltemore County forthwith cer-
tifie undr his hand to the Clerk of the Councill at the City of
St Maries the names of the Commissioners of the said County
respectively and in ordr as they stand placed in their last
Commission, and that the Sheriff of the said County take care
to remitt the same by a speciall Messenger for that purpose
to be pressed at the charge of the County with all expedition
possible Signed p ordr

Idem mutatis mutandis to the Clks of Kent Anne Arrun-
dell & Somersett Countyes the names of the Commissioners
of the other Counties being already delivered in

Memda: Decemb. 13th 1860: Then issued out new Com-
missions with Dedimus Potestatem to the severall Counties
of this Province According to the ordr of this board above
mentioned pursuant to a former ordr of the same of the 5th
October last as p fo: 144: with alteration onely that whereas
by the former ordr the County Courts were limited (in
Actions of trespass quare clausum fregit, detinue, Sur Trover,
Replevin, Accompt, Covenant, waste, assault, battery, menace,
and imprisonmt or Actions for words spoken) to the summe
of three thousand pounds of tobacco, It was his Lspps ordr by
and with the advice of the honble Philip Calvert Esqr Chancelor
that they be by this new Commission limitted to Sixteene hun-
dred pds of tobacco onely.

The Commissions are as foll viz.

liam Burges, Major Samuel Lane, John Welsh, Nathaniel

ffrancis, Capt Nicholas Gassoway, Edward Burges, John Sol-
lers, Henry Ridgely, Edward Darcy, and Richard Beard junr
of Anne Arrundell County gentl greeteing in our Lord God
Everlasting.
Know yee that considering with our Self that this our Pro-
vince depends wholly upon trade, and that we have not as
yett money come amongst the people here Inhabiting to carry
