then next following we did prorogue untill the second Tues-
day in May then next following Which upon the fourteenth
day of March then next Ensueing We did prorogue untill the
last Tuesday in September then next Ensueing which upon
the Sixteenth day of August then next following We did pro-
rogue untill the Thirteenth day of Aprill last past Which said

Assembly upon the Three and twentieth day of March last
past we did prorogue untill the seaventh day of September
last past Which upon the Eighteenth day of August Last past
We did prorogue untill the second day of November now
next ensueing Which said second day of November on Which
the said Genll Assembly should sitt being now neer at hand
and no urgent occasions or Affaires relating to the State or
welfare of this our province appearing, for the Convening &
sitting of our said Genll Assembly on the said Second day of
Novemb: We have by and with the advice and Consent of
our Councill determined and Ordained and We do hereby
fully resolve determine and Ordaine that the said Genll Assem-
bly be prorogued untill the ffifth day of Aprill Which shall be
in the year of our Lord God One thousand Six hundred
Eighty and One and We do hereby will and require as also
strictly Charge & Comand all & singular the Sheriffs of this
our Province fforthwith upon Receipt hereof to make procla-
macon hereof in the most convenient places within their
respective Counties and to give Notice to all & singular the
Delegates and Deputys by the ffreemen of their County
already Elected or for that purpose to be elected that all
Excuses set apart they and every of the said Delegates Come
& psonally appear at the said Citty of St Maries on the said
ffifth day of Aprill last menconed to do and Consent to those
things which then and theire by the flavour of God shall
happen to be ordained by us by and With the Advice & Con-
sent of our Great Councill of this our Province Concerning
the State and Welfare of this our Province And also to give

notice to such of our Councill as inhabit in their respective
Countyes or that all Excuses set apart they also be and appear
at the day and place aforesaid to the End and purpose afore-
said Given at our Citty of St Maries under the great Seal of
our said Province of Maryland the sixth day of October in the
