Whereas att a Generall Assembly begun and

Maryland ss.

held at our Citty of St Maryes on the Twentieth
day of October last past and there continued untill the fifteenth
day of November following amongst other things itt was
taken into consideracon by both houses of Assembly the greate
greivance our Province hath and doth dayly Susteyne by
severall private persons keeping in their hands and convert-
ing to their owne perticuler private use severall Gunns &
other Armes provisions horses bridles saddles and other
things that have from time to time been prest for the service
of the Country & satisfied and paid for out of the publick
Levy to the great losse and dammage of our said Province in
Generall And forasmuch as both of our said houses of
Assembly did humbly desire us or our Lievt Genll and
Councell to issue forth Proclamacon for the calling in and
securing of all such Guns and other Armes provisions horses
bridles saddles and other things as foresaid that have bin soe
prest as aforesaid for the proper use and service of the Prov-
ince It is therefore our will and pleasure And wee doe
hereby strictly charge and Command all and singuler Our
Inhabitants of our said Province haveing in their possession
any Gunns Armes provisions horses bridles sadles or other
things whatsoever that have att any time heretofore been
prest for the Countryes service That they make knowne the
same to the Comissionrs of the County Court where they
live att the next Court to be holden after Publicacon hereof
To the end that such of them as have already been satisfied
