Right as aforesayd upon the first notice thereof to us Given
from you our said Leivetennant Generall or you our said
Councill wee will give Directions and orders for his imediate
naturalization as he hath desired of us. Given under or hand
and Seale at armes the sixteenth day of ffebruary in the foure
& Thirtieth yeare of our Dominion over our said Province.

On the back side of the foregoing Instructions was thus
written (viz)
Memorandum that on the 17th day of May Ao 1666 the
within named Philip Calvert Esqr tooke the within written
oath of Chancelour of the said Province, the oath of a Privy
Councellor and the oath of a Justice of the Provinciall Court,
the said severall oathes being then Tendred unto him at St
Johns within the said Province by the within named Charles
Calvert Esqr Leivetennant Generall, and Cheif Governor of
the said Province, in the prsence of Richard Boughton, and
Jerome White Esqrs
Memorandum that the day and yeare above written the
within named Charles Calvert Esqr tooke the within written
oath of Leivetennant Generall and Cheif Governour of the
said Province the oath of a privy Councellour, and the oath of
Cheif Justice of the Provincial Court, The said severall oathes
being Tendred to him at St Johns aforesayd by the within
named Philip Calvert Esqr Chancelour of the said Province in
the prsence of Richard Boughton and Jerome White Esqr
Memorandum that the day and yeare abovewritten the
within named Richard Boughton Esqr and the abovenamed
Jerome White Esqr Tooke the severall and respective oathes
following (viz) The said Richard Boughton the within written
oath of the Principall Secretary of the said Province, and the
said Richard Boughton and Jerome White the oathes of a
privy Councellour and Justice of the Provincial Court the said
Severall oathes being Tendred to them Respectively by the
said Leivetennant Generall and Chancelour at St John's afore-
sayd.
Memorandum that the nineteenth day of May in the yeare
abovewritten William Evans Esqr and Henry Coursey Esqr
did severally take the said oathes of a Privy Councellour and
Justice of the Provincial Court the said oathes being Tendred
unto them by the said Leivetennant Generall and Chancelor
at St John's aforesayd.
Memorandum that the Twelveth day of June in the yeare
abovewritten Baker Brooke and Thomas Truman Esqr did
severally take the said oathes of a Privy Councellour &
Justice of the Provincial Cort The said oathes being Tendred
unto them by the said Lt Generall and Chancelour.
