Whereas William Stevens of Somersett County hath
humbly prayed that those psons of Somersett County that
have Patients to sue out according to his L^dpps Declaracon in
June Anno 1075: w^cn time therein limited is now expired and
yett there being some psons in the said County that have
occasion of his L^dpps grace and favour therein Expressed but
were prevented attending the Sec^rys Office by reason of the
late troubles with the Indians in those p^ts and (since that is
happily blowne over) other urgent occasions in their cropps

A Proclamacon

Whereas the R^tt Hon^ble the Lord Prop^ry of this Province by
his Gracious Proclama. beareing Date the third day of June in
the first yeare of his L^dpps Dominion &c. Annoq Domi 1676
by the advice of his L^dpps Councell did Publish Proclame and
Declare that his said L^dpp would take noe advantage of any
Lapse of time either in proving of Rights returning of Certifi-
cates or Demanding grants or Patients for any Land due to
any Adventurer or Planter within this Province, provided such
right Title and claime to any such Lands be prooved and
