such apointmt of our said Councill taking all oathes by us
appointed to be taken by our Leivetennant Generall & Cheif
Governor of our said Province.
Item that the Method to be used for the future and at all
times hereafter for the swearing and Administring of such
oathes as are or shalbe by us hereafter apointed to be Admin-
istred unto and taken by or Lt Generall Chancelor Principall
Secretary privy Councillor or privy Councellors Judges or
Justices of our said Provincial Court shalbe in this manner
(that is to say) That our Leivetennant Generall for the time
being or in his absence his Deputy or Deputyes to be by him
apointed shalby virtu of these prsents and of his and their
Office administer unto such pson or psons as shall hereafter
at any time by us or our authority be Chosen or apointed to
be our Chancelor of our said Province the severall oathes
apointed by us to be taken by and Administred unto our
Chancelorof our said Province one of our said Privy Councell,
and to the Judges and Justices of our said Provinciall Court
respectively, and that our Chancelour of our said Province for
the time being or in his absence, or in case their be no Chan-
celour, then three of our Privy Councell of our said Province,
to be appointed by our privy Councill of our said Province
shall Administer unto such pson or psons as shall at any time
hereafter by us or our authority be Chosen or apointed to be
our Leivetennant Generall of our said Province, and unto such
pson or psons as shalby any such Leivetennant Generall be
appointed to be Deputy Leivetennant of our said Province
such oath and oathes as is or are by us apointed to be Admin-
istred unto and taken by the Leivetennant Generall of our
said Province in case the pson apointed to be sworne be
apointed to be our Leivetennant Generall of our said Province,
and in case such pson to be sworne be only apointed to be
Deputy Leivetennant of our said Province, then such oath and
oathes as is or are by us appointed to be administred unto
and taken by the Deputy Leivetennant of our said Province,
as also unto the same pson or psons so to be Chosen or
apointed to be our Leivetennant Generall or to be Deputy
Leivetennant as aforesayd such oath and oathes as is or are
apointed to be Administred unto and taken by the Judges
and Justices of our said Provincial Cort and that our Chancelor
of our said Province for the time being or in his absence, or in
case their shalbe no Chancelour then two of or Privy Councill
of our said Province to be apointed by our Leivetennant Gen-
erall of our said Province or by his Deputy or Deputyes shall
administer unto Every such pson and psons respectively
as shalby us or by our authority be at any time hereafter
Chosen or apointed to be of our privy Councill of our said
