the advice assent & Approbacon of the ffreemen of our said
Province or of the Deputyes or Delegates of the ffreemen of
our said Province shall be att any tyme or tymes requisite &
necessary And the said Genll Assembly & Assemblyes so
from tyme to tyme called Assembled & Sumoned or to be

called Assembled or Sumoned from tyme to tyme when & as
often as he shall judge itt necessary in our name to Prorogue
or otherwise to dissolve att his pleasure And likewise for us
& in our name & in our absence from our said Province to
Ordayne make & Enact by & with the advice assent &
Approbation of any such Assembly or Assemblys so called
Assembled or Sumoned or to be called Assembled or
Sumoned as aforesaid to be of force untill wee our selfe or
our heyres & Assigns Lord & Proprietary or Lords & Proprie-
taryes of the said Province shall declare & Publish or cause to
be declared or published within our said Province our his their
or some of their particuler dissent or dissents disagreement
or disagreements to the same under our his their or some of
their Seale or Seales, so as the said Lawes & Acts so to be
Ordained made & Enacted be consonant to reason & be not
repugnant or contrary but as neer as conveniently may be
Agreeable to the Lawes Statutes & Customes of the King-
dom of England, & so as the same be no way repugnant to
or destructive of our Rights Priviledges or Jurisdictions, or to
the Disinherison of us our heyres or Assignes Lord & Propry
or Lords & Proprietaryes of the said Province or contrary to
our or their Powers Government or Dominion or contradic-
tory to a certaine Act of Assembly heretofore made in the
nineteenth yeare of the Dominion of our late deare & most
noble ffather Annoq Dmi. One thousand six hundred & fifty
Intituled an Act concerning Religion And likewise wee doe
farther Give & Grant unto the said Thomas Notley dureing
the tyme of his Exercise of the said Office aforesaid full
power & Authority from tyme to tyme to make Constitute
Ordayne & Publish in our name such wholesome reasonable
& profitable Ordinances Edicts & Proclamacons within our

said Province for the better Governing of the People there
Inhabiting & with such reasonable paynes & penaltyes to be
therein Expressed as wee our selfe might lawfully doe if wee
were then & there personally prsent And also full power &
authority to direct & Appoint for us & in our name to passe
under our Great Seale of our said Province such Grant &
Grants of such proporcon & proporcons of lands within our
said Province to such person & persons & for such Estate &
Estates & with such priviledges & Immunityes & under such
Conditions as wee have directed or shall from tyme to tyme
hereafter direct by any Warrant or Warrants under our hand
