Our said Province. And also for us and in Our name and as
often as his said Deputy shall find it necessary from time to
time to call Assemble and Sumon any Generall Assembly or
Generall Assemblyes of the ffreemen of Our said province or
of their Deputyes or Delegates for the giveing of the advice
assent and approbation of the ffreemen of Our said province
to such Lawes and Acts as shall be by us at any time

Ordained made and enacted and under Our Seale published
and unto which the advice assent and approbation of the ffree-
men of Our said province shall be at any time requisite &
necessary and the said Generall Assembly and Assemblyes so
from time to time called Assembled and Sumoned, or to be
called assembled or sumoned from time to time when and as
often as his said Deputy shall judge it necessary in Our name
to prorogue or otherwise to dissolve at his said Deputyes
pleasure. And likewise for us and in Our name and in Our
absence from Our said province to ordaine make and enact
by and with the advice assent and approbation of any such
Assembly or assemblyes so called assembled or sumoned as
aforesaid to be of force untill Wee Our Selfe or Our heirs or
assignes Lord and Proprietary Lords and Proprietaryes of the
said province shall declare and publish or cause to be declared
or published within Our said province his their or some of
their particular dissent or dissents disagreement or disagree-
ments to the same under Our his their or some of their Seale
or Seales so as the said Lawes and Acts so to be Ordained
made & enacted be consonant to reason and be not repugnant
or contrary but as neer as reasonably may be agreeable to the
Lawes Statuts and Customes of the Kingdome of England
and so as the same be no wayes repugnant unto or destruc-
tive of Our Rights priviledges or jurisdictions, or to the disin-
herizon of us Our heires or assignes Lords and Proprietaryes
of the said province, or contrary to Our or their power Gov-
erment or Dominion or contradictory to a certaine Act of
Assembly heretofore made in the ninetenth yeare of the
Dominion of Our deceased ffather of Noble memory Annoq
One thousand six hundred and fifty intituled An Act concern-
ing Religion And likewise wee doe further give and grant
unto Our said Deare Sonn dureing the time of his exercise of
the said Office aforesaid full power and authority from time
to time by his Deputy to make Constitute ordaine and pub-
lish in Our name such wholsome reasonable and profitable
Ordinances Edicts and proclamations within Our said Prov-
ince for the better governing of the people in Our said Prov-
ince and with such reasonable paines and penalties to be
therein expressed as Wee Our Selfe may lawfully doe being
personally present in Our said Province, And also full power
