Reid fifty Gun-barrels to be stocked and compleated agreeable '
to his Contract with the Council, of this Day.
Ordered that the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Robert
Reid seventy six Pounds ten Shillings.
Ordered that the Committee of Observation for Baltimore
County deliver to Capt. Alexander Furnival all the small Arms
in their Possession belonging to the Public.
Ordered That the paymaster pay John Gardner of Captain
John Allen Thomas's Company for four month's & an half's
Service.
Ordered That the said John Gardner be discharged from
the Service.
Copy of Letter No 39 was sent to the Committee of Obser-
vation for Baltimore County.

19th Augt 1777 This order retd by Col. Hollingsworth: He never having
applied for the powder to the Comee.

Ordered That the Committee of Observation for Caecil
County deliver to Col. Henry Hollingsworth three Barrels of
Gunpowder.
Copy of Letter No 40 was sent to Mr Jesse Hollingsworth.
Henry Guyton of Baltimore County having attended the
Council in Consequence of a Summons heretofore issued, and
the Witnesses examined concerning the Conduct of said
Guyton, and it appearing upon due Consideration that the said
Guyton had not been guilty of any Offence of a dangerous
Tendency to this State, Ordered that he be discharged.
Adjourned till next Day, 10 o' Clock

Friday December 6. 1776.

Council met. Present as on yesterday
Ordered That the Western Shore Treasurer pay to Robert
Canden twenty nine Shillings and three pence.
That the said Treasurer pay to James Maynard nine Pounds
four Shillings.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Brooke Hodgkin
thirty six Pounds ten Shillings.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Snowden two hun-
dred and two Pounds seventeen shillings and four pence.
That the said Treasurer pay to Edward Gale twenty Pounds
one Shilling and three Pence.
That the said Treasurer pay to Captain Alexander Furnival
one hundred pounds.
That the said Treasurer pay to Captain John Gibbons fifty
Pounds.
That the said Treasurer pay to Phyllis Waterland fifteen
Shillings.
