time your Petitioner was taken by Majr Fallin's guard he had
all his cloaths taken from him, that he is now naked and has
been so ever since his confinement and has not wherewithall
to purchase any cloaths; he therefore humbly prays your
Honours would be pleased to grant him an order on Mr Fallin
for the Delivery of his cloaths and your Petitioner as in duty
bound shall ever pray.

Tuesday, October 29th 1776.

Council met. Present as on yesterday.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Amos Davis
for the use of Charles White twenty eight Pounds, fifteen shil-
lings for Amt Acct
Commission issued to Wm Patterson appointed Commander
of the Schooner Dolphin, mounting eight Swivels, belonging
to this state.
Ordered That Captain Patterson be furnished with twenty
two musquets out of Captains Brooke & Smith's Company.
Warrant issued to John Skinner appointed a recruiting
Serjeant for Matrosses, and continental Troops.
Commission issued to Edward Markland, appd Lieutenant,
and Richard Coward Master of the Schooner Dolphin.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to John Bullen
fifteen Pounds, for to be accounted for.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Jenifer Taylor for use
of Thomas Keimer nine Pounds, eleven shillings.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Jenifer Taylor for use
of Ignatius Taylor thirty two Pounds, ten shillings and two
Pence, for Amt Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Benjamin Tolson
twenty six Pounds, one shilling for Amt Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to John Sliney three
Pounds, fifteen shillings for Amt Acct
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Wm Paca Esqr
for use and by order of Danl and Saml Hughs one hundred
and fifty Pounds.
Copy of a Letter No 239 was sent to Benton Harriss.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to John Skinner
thirty Pounds, for enlistg matrosses.
Adjourned 'till next Day 10 o'Clock.
