Friday, September 6th 1776

Council met. Present the same members as on yesterday.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay Captn Robt
Bowie ninety four pounds, nine shillings & three pence, for
Bala of his Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Benj. Brookes four
pounds, twelve shillings & six Pence for Expresses.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Jno H. Briscoe seven
Pounds, nineteen shillings for Bala of his Acct
Ordered That Eastern shore Treasurer pay to Colo Jno
Ennalls ninety Pounds, seventeen shillings & four pence, for
militia duty.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to John Clark
Sprigg for collecting the Number of Souls in part of P: Geo's
County.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Benja Brookes fifteen
pounds, for collecting Number of Souls in County afsd
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Gordon & Patten
seven hundred and eight pounds, eighteen shillings for Knap-
sacks with Havresacks.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to James Harrington
forty shillings for Boatage.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Mattw Patten twenty
nine pounds, twelve shillings and three pence for Scabbards.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to said Patten thirteen
shillings & nine pence for Amt of Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Jno Gordon fifteen
pounds & three Pence for Amt of his Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Jno Gordon for use of
George Fitzings four pounds, one shilling for Amt of his Acct
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to James Allcock forty
five pounds for thirty days' Engineering.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Edward Parker one
hundred and ten pounds for Blankets.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Colo Jno
Addison for use of Captn Edward Tillard one hundred and
twenty five pounds for Advance.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Wm Richardson
sixty two pounds, seven shillings and four Pence, for militia
duty.
