Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Captn John
Dean thirty seven Pounds eight shillings & six Pence Cury for
subsist of his Company.
Ordered that Commissary of Stores deliver to Captn John
Dean eighty six Priming wires & Brushes & 150 yds Country
Linen.
Ordered That Western shore Treasurer pay to Captain
John Dean one hundred and twenty five Pounds, on Acct of
his Compy
Order'd that said Treasurer pay to Danl Coulter forty
shillings, for attending the Hospital.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Chs Carroll Esqr five
Pounds, fifteen shillings for Provisions for Captn Thomas's
Compy
Ordered That Commissary of Stores deliver to Captn John
Dean eighty six Gunslings & Bayonet Belts.
Copy of Letter No 150 was sent to Colo Henry Hollings-
worth
Ordered That Eastern shore Treasurer pay to Colo Henry
Hollingsworth three hundred Pounds for providing Subsist:
for Flying camp.
Copy of Letter No 152 was sent to Committee of Kent
County.
James Layfield being brought before this board & the
depositions taken before the Committee being read, and he
being heard in his own defence Ordered That he give
security for his good behaviour, and obeying all orders of
Congress and Convention — himself in [ ]100 & two securities
in [ ]50 .. each; or one good security in [ ] 100 .. — .. — and not
being able to give such security here, ordered that the Com-
mittee of Somerset County be requested to take the security,
and that on giving the same, he be discharged.
Ordered That he recognize in the sum of [ ]100 Currency
for his appearance before the Committee of Somerset County,
on or before the 10th day of September next, which was
accordingly done.
Copy of Letter No 151 was sent to Colo Thomas Ewing.
Adjourned 'till next day.
