Thursday Augt 15th 1776.

Council met. Present as on yesterday.
Ordered That Western Shore Treasurer pay Captn John
Deale seven Pounds, three shillgs & four Pence Curry, for
militia on duty on Fowey Alarm.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Abraham Sim-
mons seven Pounds, seventeen Shillings & four Pence, on
same Alarm.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Thomas Watkins,
fifty three Pounds, seventeen shillings & six Pence for his

Compy on duty in Annapolis.

Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn Richard Weems
three Pounds, eleven shillings & four Pence, for his Compy
on duty.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Wm Belwood eleven
Pounds, ten shillings, for Boat Hire.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to the Committee of
Observation for Prince George's County fifty Pounds, for
Arms and Blankets.
Ordered That Western Shore Treasurer pay to Josiah Dor-
sey, twelve Pounds, five shillings for Boat-Hire.
Ordered that said Treasurer pay to George Gough eleven
Pounds, seven Shillings & six Pence for Boat-Hire.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Jas Tootle, thirty one
Pounds, sixteen shillings & seven Pence for finding rations for
Guard at Magazine.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Wm Thomas twelve
Pounds, five shillings for Boat Hire.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to David Crawford six
Pounds, one shilling and eight pence, for Carriage of powder:
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Dr Smith Bishop sev-
enty one pounds, for medical attendance, on Captain Wat-
kins's compy of regular Troops.
Ordered that said Treasurer pay to Richd Bryan thirteen
pounds, eighteen shillings for Amt of his Acct
Ordered that said Treasurer pay to Captn Danl Dorsey
fourteen pounds, three shillings, for arms & Blankets.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Captn James Young
seventy five Pounds for Pay of his Company of Flying Camp.
Ordered That said Treasurer pay to Colo Thomas Ewing
five hundred Pounds on Acct of his Battalion.
Copy of Letter No 134 was sent to Colo Henry Hollings-
worth.
Ordered That Western Shore Treasurer pay to Captn John
Hammond four Pounds, ten shillings, for Provision on Otter
Alarm.
