92 is all ready to begin to discharge, but is now a drissling
rain that are afraid to open the Hatches, but tomorrow shall
be at her discharge or as soon as it holds up fair and shall
then begin on bakeing the flour up with two ovens, but if you
are in a hurry for the Bread shall get to work with the other,
which three ovens can turn out a great quantity of Bread in a
day, of which you'l please to advise me, and should be glad to
hear from you as often as convenient for my government, and
shall endeavour in every instruction you Honour we with, to
give you entire satisfaction both as to my care & charges
which hope will merritt your aprobation.

know whether it turns out right that is

how many bls. superfine flour.

how many common fine do.

how many bls. Bread & how many kegs &c.
the superfine I purpose bakeing in what we call small fine keg
Bread, & the common fine in Pilott bread size, which I think
most proper for exportation &c. and shall bake it so; unless I
receive your orders to the Contrary, I should not trouble you
for the manifest of the Schooners Cargo, was Mr Young in
this place, which hope you'l excuse & am Gentlen in all your
commands your much obligd most humble Servt

Saturday 8 June 1776.

Met according to Adjournment. Present the same Mem-
bers as on yesterday except Mr Hall.
Ordered That the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to
Mr William Lux One thousand Pounds common money to be
lodged with the Committee of Observation for Baltimore
County, and by them applied towards discharging the Pay of
the Militia on the late Alarm and for other Purposes to be
accounted for.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Charles Wallace
Esq; Paymaster One thousand Pounds common money.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Messrs Charles
Wallace and William Lux five hundred Pounds common
money to enable them to carry on a Salt-Work.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Oliver Whiddon
five Pounds for Stocking eight Muskets.
Ordered That the said Treasurer pay to Capt. Nathaniel
Smith One hundred Pounds to be accounted for.
Capt. Stone produced an Account of One hundred and
twenty nine Pounds and nine Pence for the Pay of his Com-
