19th April 1650 John Medley demandeth an alloweance out of the Custome for 2 hhds of Tob: delivered to Capt Price for Go: Calverts vse in St Tho: ffort as the said Capt Price acknowl- edgeth.
p. 333 30 Junij Daniell Clocker his Marke for Cattell & hoggs viz: 2 slitts in each Eare and the foremost peice cutt off the slitt being left to bee seen on the Eares.
p. 334 The Deposicon of Joseph Edlowe sworne and Examined the 16th day of Aprill Anno Dm 1650. Saith as followeth, viz: That about a weeke before his death Mr Robert Wiseman late of St Maries in the Province of Maryland deceased Vppon this deponents request (pceiving him to bee a man not likely to live long) that bee would make some settlemt & disposicon of his Estate or to that effect, desired him this depont to take that Estate wch bee the said Wiseman had into his possion and to manage it the best way bee could for the satisfaccon of his the said Wisemans debts And if any Overplus remayned hee desired it should bee imployed and disposed of to the best for the vse of his sonne John Wiseman or Words to that effect And hee this depont further deposeth that hee doth not knowe that the said Mr Wiseman made any further or other disposicon of his Estate before his death then what is before rehearsed. And further this depont saith, that by reason of some Ingagemt wherein this depont stands bound for the said Mr Wiseman and otherwise hee conceives himself to bee one of the greatest Credditors of the said Mr Wiseman who was heretofore this deponts Mate J urat die & Anno Sup dict coram me Tho: Hatton
