Whereas their honors have been informed by Patrick Mein Esqr Surveyor Generall of his Matyes Customes in the American Planta that Robert Roberts Mar of the Pink or Vessell called

the John of London with his said vessell hath transgressed his
Majesties Lawes of shipping and navigation. It is hereby
ordered that comission of Oyer & Terminer be directed to
Cap^t Rich^d Ladd and John Griggs of Calvert County, James
Pattison & Garr: Vansweringen of S^t Maryes County Gent^l
constituting the said Rich: Ladd John Griggs James Pattison
& Garr: Vansweringen or any three of them to be comiss^rs
of a speciall Court for the Tryall, Condemn^a or Acquittall of
the said Pink or Vessell together with her goods & merchan-
dize that shall be informed against and that James Heath of
S^t Maryes County be appointed by the said Comissioners Clk
of the said Court and in all other things the said Comiss^rs to be
according to the usuall formes of Comiss^o of the like nature
and the power thereby to comence the 13^th day of this Instant
March and to continue to the last day of the same month.
