Ordered that in regard Mr Thomas Hussey hathe refused
the ordinary at the Court house in Charles County being
disatisfied with the rates and prices of Liquors for this ensueing
yeare sett and assessed by this Court Mr Phillip Lynes being
lycenced to keep the said ordinary on the Acre of Land
belonging to the said Court house he the said Mr Lynes first
giving Bond to do and performe all things required by the
Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided, and ordered
that Mr Hussey deliver up the key of the Court house to the

said Mr Lynes and that the Sheriff of this County give him the
said Mr Lynes imediate possesion of the said Court house and
Acre of Land thereto belonging for the uses mentioned in the
Act relating to the Court house for the said County and
further ordered that his Lops honble Councill be in humble
manner petitioned by this Court to grant an order for speedy
laying out the Acre of Land belonging to the said Court
house to the best advantage for the publick good and con-
venience of keeping the said Ordinary and accomodating the
Court, and be it remembered that the said Mr Lynes came
here and upon serious debate concerning the pmises did fully
and freely signifie his Acceptance of this Courts offer of the
said Ordinary as alsoe his willingness to enter into Bond to
performe all things requisite by Act in order to keeping the
same

The humble Petition of the Comissrs of
Charles County.
Your Petitioners on the behalf of themselves & the County
of Charles County aforesaid do humbly pray yor honours con-
sideration of the pmises above mentioned and to order that
the Acre of Land for a Court house purchased by the County
may be layd out and that yor honors will be pleased to order
your Petrs for the benifit of the County aforesaid and suitors
to the Court may have soe much land laid out next adjoyning
to the Court house & not yet pattented being part of his
Lops Forrest land as yor honors shall think meet.

Kenelm Cheseldyn haveing lodged in the Clk
of the Councills hands a Caveat in behalf of the
said Hussey praying that noe order might be
made upon any pet: of the Comrs of Charles
