Matie for this his divine bounty and upon the knees of our
hearts humbly to offer our most Constant faith obedience and
Loyaltie to your sacred Matie and your royall progeny In what-
soever is near and deare unto us Beseeching Almighty God
who is the King of Kings and sole disposer of all earthly
crownes and kingdoms of his infinite mercy soe to blesse both
your Matie and this Royall Infant and most Excellent prince
that there may never faile of your Line one to sway the
sceptre of your Imperial Kingdomes which is and Always
shall be the hearty prayer of.

Maryland ss. A Proclamation
Whereas the Generall Assembly of this province was by
proclamacon bearing date the sixth day of September last
prorogued from the first Tuesday in October then next and
now past untill the first Tuesday in May next ensueing for
that at the aforesaid sixth day of September noe occasion
relateing to the state or welfare of this province did then at
that present offer that required the sitting of the said Generall
Assembly upon the said first Tuesday in October since the
issueing of which last proclamacon urgent affaires and occa-
sions Relating to the good and welfare of this province has
and does offer for the sudden convening and calling an As-
sembly Wee the said Deputy Leiuts with the Advice of his
Lordsps Council have therefore thought fit to Convene call
and sumons the Assembly prorogued as aforesaid and all and
every the Burgesses delegate and delegates of the same that
all excuses set apart they and every of them be and personally

appear at a Generall Assembly to be held at the City of
St Maries upon the Twelfth day of November next then and
there to doe and consent to such things as shall by the favour
of God happen there to be ordained any proclamacon hereto-
fore issued to the contrary notwithstanding And the severall
and respective sheriffs of the province are hereby strictly
required and comanded forthwith to make publick procla-

macron hereof in the most publick places of their Counties and

give notice to the Deputys and delegates of their several and
respective Counties that they be and appeare at the City of
St Maries on the said Twelfth day of November next Ensueing
Herein each and every respective Sheriffe is comanded to use
all possible dilligence that Imediate notice may be given as
