Liber K.

Pattents) to the 16th of September 1692 when Sir Thomas
arrived at St Marys shall at his leisure time make out & give
to Sir Thomas a true acct of all the said Fees & Profits arising
during the said time
That the said William Taylard do forthwith issue out to the
ten Sheriffs of this Province a true List of all Fees accruing to
Sir Thomas from the 16th of September last to the day of the
date of these Presents both of the Provincial Court & Land
Office recording extrordinary Fees excepted for the use of
Sr Thomas Lawrence
That the said Mr Taylard shall prepare Sufficient Security
to pay to Sr Thomas the Sum of Fourscore & ten thousand
pounds of good Sound Merchantable Leaf Tobacco in Cask
to be paid to Sir Thomas or his Assigns at or by the 30th of
November 1693 free from all Charge & deduction whatsoever
That in Consideration of such security for such Payment the
said Sr Thomas shall grant & signe to the said Will™ Taylard
a good & sufficient deputation to act as his Clerk of the
Provincial Court for the Year ensuing the date of these Pres-
ents & to receive to himself all Lawful Fees Profits & Advan-
tages arising & due from this present day to the 30th of Novr
1693 both of Law & Equity and to dispose of the said Profitts
to his own proper use & Behoof
And lastly that for perfecting the Record of the last Provincl
Court he the said Sir Thomas should allow to the said Willm
Taylard at the Years end so much as any two indifferent persons
chosen by them shall Iudge the said Mr Taylard shall have
deserved in witness whereof we have the day above written
interchangeably set our hands & Seal

At the humble motion & request of Robt Grundy of Talbot
County Ordered that warrant issue & be Granted him out of
the Land Office for 500 Acres of Land due to him by Renew-
ment of a warrant for the same Quantity granted him by order
of this Board the 26th of October last
In like manner warrant for 100 Acres of Land granted to
Samuel Warner of Calvert County due to him by renewmt of
the remainder of a warrant for 225 Acres granted the sd
Samuel the 19th day of May 1680 & endorsed vizt One Hun-
dred & Twenty five acres of this warrant laid out by me
