The petition granted and Ordered that special warrant issue
forth of the Land Office for resurvey of the Land Above men-
tioned according to the true antient intended meetes and
bounds thereof in the presence of the Sheriff of the County,
and a Iury of the Neighbourhood therein best acquainted &
known to be by the said Sheriff thereunto Summoned Impan-
elled & Sworn &ca in manner and form as is prayed

To his Excellency the Govr & the honble Councill
The humble Petition of Abel Browne of Ann
Arundel County
humbly sheweth
That your Petitioner having lately Purchased of one Iohn
Cumber a Parcell of Land for two hundred acres called Cum-
berland lying in Ann Arundell County in the Swamp of Her-
ring Creeke humbly supplicates this honble Board to grant
him warrant of Resurvey for the same in the Presence of the
Sheriff & according to the directions of a Iury of the Neigh-
bourhood to be by the said Sheriff Summoned Impanelled &
Sworn not according to the Courses and distances of the
Bounds thereof as they are mentioned in the Patent of the
said Land but as it may by good Evidences be made to be
according to the Originall Intended meetes and Bounds
thereof and that the Surveyor may have Power to Examine
such Evidences as may be produced to him for the ascertain-
ing the same Bounds
And your Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray &c

Ordered that Special warrant issue forth of the Land Office
for Resurvey of the Land mentioned in the Petition on manner
and Form as in the said Petition is set forth

humbly sheweth
That your Petitioner having lately purchased of one William
Luffman a certain tract of Land called Brushy Neck lying on
the South Side of Maggaty River in Ann Arundell County
containing about one hundred acres humbly supplicates this
Board to grant him warrant of Resurvey for the same to be
made in the Presence of the Sheriff of the said County and
