ance for their wages the Sea men by Mr George Plater their
Attorney appearing to demd the same and it was urged and
alledged by the said Master that the men by reason of their
absenting themselves from and deserting or neglecting the
service of the said ship Contrary to their Duty and Places
ought of right and justice to forfeit and lose the Benefit of
their Wages to which they by their Attorney aforesaid answer
and Reply that they never did desert or Neglect the Service
of the said ship before her condemnation unless it were for
want of Provisions and other Necessarys fit and Convenient
for them as also good assurance for payment of their wages
upon full hearing whereof and the parties on both Sides their
severall allegations and due Consideration thereof had it was
resolved and ordered that the Seamen be paid and satisfied
their Wages out of the appraisment and Value of the said
ship from the time of their Shipping to the Condemnation of
the ship pro rato according to their Contract and the Judgment
of the special Court aforesaid they making oath to the Con-
tract aforesaid between them made And accordingly the
Board proceeds to allotting and awarding the same with
further allowance of Charges and Expences in prosecutg &
putting in Execution the Commission aforesaid for tryall of
the said ship (vizt)

Allowed to Mr Edwardiward Man one of the Commis-
sioners formerly appointed for his Expences &
trouble therein in full of his Accot demanded
