Upon motion made to the Board in behalf of a Party of
Men in Arms under the Command of Capt Richard Bright-
well, Rangers appointed on the Frontiers by order of his
Excellency & continued from the 27th day of Aprill last to the
last of Novr foll concerning the Major part of their pay due to
them for their Service and omitted to be allowed them by the
Assembly vizt a Captain and Eleven men with their Horses
the Captains pay at 1300l tob p mo and the Eleven men at
600l tob ea p month
Ordered that the same be recommended to the considera-
tion of the next Assembly to allot them their pay and that in
the mean time assurance be given and certified from this
Board to Major Ninion Beal high Sheriff of Calvert County to
be also communicated and made known to those men that the
full remdr of their pay shall be duly awarded them in the next
publick Leavy and made good to them or their order whoever
shall give them Credit so that the whole pay rema due to the
men deducting out of each mans proportion 760 l tob part
already allowed them by the Assembly amounts to 39840 l
Tob and the Captns pay deducting 4000 l tob already allowed
him amounts to 4340 l tob in all 44180l tobacco the List of

The Sheriff of Talbot County having formerly recd a pre-
cept commanding him by Iury to appraise the Ship Ann of
New Castle Iames Anderson Masr condemned by a special
Court of Oyer and terminer which appraisment was returned
and ordered to be Entered among the Records of the said
Court Iames Anderson the Master of the said ship together
with Mr William Sharp of Talbot County Merchant appear in
