good Behaviour and appearance at the next Provinciall Court

to Answer &c^a and be also reinvested and restored by the
said Sheriff to all such part or Portion of his Estate as hath
so irregularly and unlawfully been seized & taken from him
as aforesaid without due course of Law to maintain the same.

The petition of Samuel Withers of Talbot County
humbly sheweth

Liber K.

That your Petitioner the 9^th day of October 1688 had
Granted unto him warrant for five hundred acres of Land for
which he satisfied according to Conditions of Plantation then
in force, that One hundred Acres thereof and no more is laid
out and executed for your Petitioner as p the Surveyors
Indorsment on the back of said warrant appears he prays the
order of this Hon^ble Board for renewment of the remainder of
the said warrant
And shall pray &c^a

Ordered that warrant issue forth of the Land Office to the
Pet^r for four hundred acres of Land due to him by renewm^t of
the remaind^r of the abovesaid warrant as he hath prayed
It being complained that the Commissioners of S^t Marys
County Court some few of them had unduly proceeded to the
laying & assessing of their County Levy without publishing
the same & given due Notice thereof as is usual and reason-
able to be done &c^a this following order thereupon issued (viz^t)

Ordered that the Commissioners of the said Court do at
their next meeting the last Tuesday of this Instant November
again overhaul review State and Examine the publick claims
and Accounts that are or shall be brought before them for
allowance out of their County Levy and do therein according
to Law and Justice, the Sheriff of the said County being also
commanded to give due notice as well to the Respective Com-
missioners of the said Court to attend the same as also to
others the Inhabitants of the said County having any Claims
or demands to put in
