the 19th of Septr 1692.
Sir,
The Lords of the Committee of Trade and Plantations
having received the Representation of the Assembly of Mary-
land to their Majesties, referred to the Comittee by Order in
Councill of the 15th of this month, touching several demands
made by the Lord Baltemore in that Province, their Lord-
shipps have ordered the enclosed Copy thereof to be sent to
you for your opinion, as to the matters of Law ariseing in the
several Articles contained in the said Address

Inclosed is a Copy of the Act for the Port dutys mentioned
in the Representation, which dutys by custom have been
changed into money.

sembly of Maryland touching severall summs due from
Lord Baltemore.

Sor Councill Chamber the 19th of Sepber 1692.

The Lords of the Committee of Trade and Plantations
having received the address of the Assembly of Maryland to
their Majesties referred to the Committee by Order in Councill
of the 15th of this month touching severall summs of Monies
due to that Province from the Lord Baltemore their Lordships
have ordered the enclosed copy of the said Address to be sent
to you to be laid before the Lords Commissioners of their
Majesties Treasury for their Lordships consideration therein
as their Lordships shall think most conducing to their Maj-
esties service.

The Lords Commrs of their Majesty's Treasury have com-
manded me to returne to you the Petition of the Assembly of
Maryland for receiving the Impo money of 25. shipps that went
away in the year 1690 for the use of the Governor in consid-
eration of what money the Country disposed of for support of
the Government; their Lordshipps desire you to report to
them how this whole matter of fact stands.
