Sept: 15th It is this day ordered by the Gouerr that this oath
ffollowing be administred to all persons that haue had any
hand in the late Rebellion heere, when euer they shall come
into the Proufnce and that the Capt or Comander present of
the fort is hereby Authorized and required to administer the
sayd oath to all such persons coming in as aforesayd and
further the sayd Capt: or Comander shall take into his poses-
sion and keepe in safe Custody, wthin the ffort all such armes
and amunition as any of them shall bring wth them at thire
comeing into the Prouince, and see them safe deliuered vnto
them againe when they shall depart, the sayd Prouince. And
this as often as any of them shall come or goe from hence :

The Oath Yow shalbe trew and ffaythfull so long as yow shall
remaine in this Prouince as often as yow shall returne into the
same to the Right Honobl the Lo: Proprietary of this prouince
and his heires Lords Proprietaryes of this prouince and to
his Gouerr Thomas Greene Esqr and his lawfull substitute
or successor Gouerr of the prouince for the tyme being:
And all Conspiraces and practises as yow shall know or here of
against them or any of them yow shall resist to yor power and
reueale the same to them or some person in Authority under
them. wthin 24 howers or sooner if yow may: And yow shall
not vse any meanes or perswations directly or indirectly to
draw any of the Inhabitants of this Collony to forsake the
Prouince So helpe yow God and the Contents of this booke.

Wheras diuers of the Inhabitants of Appomatocks and
Chickacoon, haue seuerall suits depending in this next Court:
And that Justice may be duly administred, to them and to all
others persons wthout danger of disturbance of the peace and
wellfare of this prouince. These are to giue notice to all per-
sons that had any hand in the late Rebellious action of this
Prouince. That they neither may or shall haue any heareing

in Court, or be admitted to stay wthin the prouince, before such
