Amend by including the words "Annapolis & Balti-
mare Short Line," among the railroads excepted.
Mr. Williams, of Anne Arundel, moved that further
consideration of said bill be indefinitely postponed.

On motion of Mr. Wilkinson,
Said bill, with proposed amendments, was made the
special Order of the Day for Wednesday, February 14th,
at 1.50 P. M.
Mr. Bouic, from the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, reported favorably,
House bill No. 7, entitled "An Act to provide for the crea-
tion of a Board of Police Examiners for Baltimore city, to
define and prescribe the duties thereof, and to regulate
appointments to, promotion, reduction in ranks and
transfers in and removals from the police force of said
city, and to repeal all Acts and parts of Acts inconsistent
with this Act, said provisions to be a part of Artkle 4,
of Public Local Laws, sub-title ‘Police Commissioners,'
and to be numbered sections 745 A, 745 B, 745 C, 745 D,
745 E and 745 F."
Which was read the second time.
Also,
House bill No. 6, entitled "An Act to repeal sections
740 and 741, of Article 4, of Public Local Laws, entitled
‘City of Baltimore,' sub-title ‘Police Commissioners,' as
amended and re-enacted by chapter 123, of the Acts of
1898, and to re-enact the same with amendments."
Which was read the second time.

Senate bill No. 32, entitled "An Act to repeal section
3, of chapter 704, of the Acts of the General Assembly of
