WORCESTER COUNTY, MARYLAND

MUNICIPALITIES


[photo, Town Hall, 10 William St., Berlin, Maryland] Worcester County has four municipalities: Berlin, Ocean City, Pocomoke City, and Snow Hill. Of these, Snow Hill, the county seat, was the first to form its own government in 1812. Thereafter, Pocomoke City incorporated in 1865, Berlin in 1868, and Ocean City in 1880.
