Past member, Board of Directors, Waterfowl Festival; Family Support Center; Talbot County Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA); Maryland State Chamber of Commerce; Martingham Utilities Co-op. Community Service Award, Talbot County Chamber of Commerce, 2013. Married; two children. Died in St. Michaels, Maryland, August 2, 2018.
