Member, St. Mary's County Republican Central Committee, 1998-2002. Board of Directors, Maryland Association of Counties, 2019-. Member, Leonardtown Lions Club. Member, American Legion Post no. 221, Avenue, Maryland, 1994- (past commander). Former member, Board of Directors, Southern Maryland Youth Camp. Married; one son.
