Vision and hearing screening technician. Director, United Communities Against Poverty (UCAP), 1973-76. Associate Director of Social Planning, United Way of the National Capital Area, 1980s-1992. Board of Director, Health and Welfare Council; Family Service Agency; Child Day Care Association; Scholarship Fund. Regional Board, National Conference of Christians and Jews. Member, Prince George's County Women's Political Caucus. Life member, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). President, Beaver Heights Elementary School Parent Teacher Association. Volunteer community coordinator for voter registration drives and polio clinics, Prince George's County. Brotherhood Award, Human Relations, National Conference of Christians and Jews, 1976. Alumna of the Year, LeMoyne College, 1985. Prince George's County Women's Hall of Fame, 1988. Married.
