Born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, 1932. Attended Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring; Montgomery College; University of Maryland, B.A., 1959. Served in U.S. Army (linguist). Former analyst, manager, and recruiter, Central Intelligence Agency. Vice-President, Calverton Citizens Association. Board of Directors, CHI, Inc. (past president); First Tee of Montgomery County; Colesville Strawberry Festival. Widower; three children, four grandchildren. Died in Bethesda, Maryland, January 30, 2009.
