Western Maryland College, B.A., 1956; George Washington University Law School, J.D., 1959; West Virginia University; National Judicial College. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1959. Attorney, solo practice, 1960-80. Member, Garrett County Bar Association. Former adjunct professor, Garrett Community College, Board of Directors, Dove Center; Hospice of Garrett County. Member, American Legion. Member, St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Oakland, Maryland. Four children, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. Died in Oakland, Maryland, April 23, 2025.
