Founder and first president, Lewistown Volunteer Fire Department, 1970-72. Member, Lions Club of Frederick (past president). Past member, Maryland Municipal League. Dealer of the Year Award, Boss Hoss Motorcycle, 2008. Good Samaritan of the Year, Frederick Memorial Hospital, 2013. Member, Calvary United Methodist Church, Frederick, Maryland.
