Born in Cambridge, Maryland, 1956. Attended Cambridge High School, Cambridge, Maryland. Owner and manager, Simmons Center Market and Greenhouse, Cambridge. President, Chamber of Commerce, 1999 (past board member). Member, Rescue Fire Company (past chief); Lloyd's Fire Company; Cambridge Powerboat Association; Seafood Feast-i-val Committee. William Donald Schaefer Helping People Award, Office of Comptroller of Maryland, 2012. Member, St. Paul's United Methodist Church (past finance chair), Cambridge, Maryland. Married; four sons.
