Born October 19, 1941. Attended Westminster High School, Westminster, Maryland. Served in U.S. Army Reserves (staff sergeant). Insurance salesman and manager, Washington National Insurance. Car salesman and manager, Bohn Pontiac. Past member, Carroll County Republican Central Committee (past chair). Member, Westminster Lions Club (president, 2009-10); American Legion, Carroll Post no. 31, Westminster; Historical Society of Carroll County. Past president, Carroll County Association of Life Unterwriters. Lion of the Year, Westminster Lions Club, 2007. Member, Church of the Open Door, Westminster. Married; three children, eight grandchildren. Died in Westminster, Maryland, July 11, 2012.
