Member, Calvert County Democratic Central Committee, 1994-98; Calvert County Democratic Club. Member, American Legion Auxiliary, Post no. 85, Huntington, Maryland; Calvert County Historical Society; CalvertHealth Medical Center, Inc., (formerly Calvert Memorial Hospital) Auxiliary; Friends of Calvert Seniors; Lioness Club of Calvert County (treasurer; past president); Calvert Optimist Club. Founding member, Board of Directors, Calvert Hospice. Special award, Calvert County Democratic Club, 2015. Member, Trinity United Methodist Church, Prince Frederick, Maryland. Widow; two children, three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Died June 27, 2019.
