Member, Legislative Committee, Maryland Association of Counties, 2011-14 (education subcommittee, 2011; land use subcommittee, 2012-14). Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 2016. Member, Baltimore County Business Asssociation. Regional Partner, Gunpowder Valley Conservancy - Clear Creeks Project. Past member, Riverside Democratic Club; Eastern Baltimore County Democratic Club; 6th District Democratic Club. Past member, Oliver Beach Improvement Association. Honorary member, Middle River Volunteer Fire Company. Married; four children, five grandchildren.
