Born in 1924. Attended Frederick Douglas High School, Baltimore, Maryland; Morgan State College. Former educator and social worker. Delegate, Democratic Party National Convention, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2004. Past member, Baltimore City Democratic Central Committee (past chair). Board of Directors, Bon Secours Foundation; Downtown Management Authority; Downtown Partnership of Baltimore; Mid-Town Belvedere. Recipient, Pro Ecclesia et Pontifica Medal from Pope John Paul II. Member, St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church, Baltimore, Maryland. One child; one grandchild. Died in Baltimore, Maryland, December 26, 2023.
