Born in Detroit, Michigan, July 25, 1933. Attended Greenbelt High School, Greenbelt, Maryland. Served in U.S. Army, 1954-56. University of Maryland, B.A., 1959; University of Maryland School of Law, LL.B., 1963. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1965. Member, American and Maryland State Bar Associations. Recipient of service awards, Prince George's County Charter Board, 1970; Volunteer Parole Committee, American Bar Association, 1973; Pro Bono Committee, Maryland State Bar Association, 1985. Member, Civitan, 1984. Tutor, Literacy Council, 1992.
