Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, March 17, 1953. Pennsylvania State University, B.A., with honors, 1975; University of Maryland School of Law, J.D., with honors, 1978. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1979. Member, Maryland State Bar Association, 1979-85; Baltimore County Bar Association, 1999-2001 (bench/bar committee, 2010-11; criminal law committee, 2010-11). Adjunct faculty (business law), Towson University, 2006-12. Judith Ritchey Award, Baltimore County Bar Association, 2013 (awarded posthumously). Died in Towson, Maryland, December 17, 2012.
