University of Baltimore School of Law, J.D., 1975. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1976; U. S. District Court, 1976. General trial practitioner, 1976-96. Member, American Bar Association, 1976-85; Maryland State Bar Association, 1976-96; Baltimore City Bar Association, 1976-84 (public relations committee, young lawyers section); Anne Arundel County Bar Association, 1984- (chair, legislative committee, 1990-94). Member, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, 1977-96 (board of governors, 1984-92). Member, Congressionally Mandated National Resource Judge Program Oversight Committee, Advanced Science and Technology Adjudication Resource Center (ASTAR), Inc.
