Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1970. Member, Maryland State Bar Association (board of governors, 1989-90, 1995-96, 2001-02, 2003-05); Garrett County Bar Association, 1970-2024. Anselm Sodaro Judicial Civility Award, Maryland State Bar Association, 2014. Member, Zion Lutheran Church, Accident, Maryland. Died in Oakland, Maryland, June 19, 2024.
