Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, March 26, 1937. Attended Northwestern High School. Served in U.S. Naval Air Reserve, 1954-62. University of Maryland, B.S. (education), 1960; George Washington University School of Law, J.D., 1963. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1964. Attorney, Rollins, Smalkin, Westin & Andrews, 1963-67. Partner, Wolman, Fishman, Gushee & Shepherd, 1971-78. Member, Maryland State and Prince George's County Bar Associations. James R. White Award for Outstanding and Distinguished Service in Criminal Defense, Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association, 1990. Died in Mitchellville, Maryland, July 23, 2008.
