Served in U.S. Navy, 1969-79 (Achievement Medal; Commendation Medal). University of Virginia Law School, J.D., 1976. Special Court-Martial Military Judge, 1977-79. Served in U.S. Naval Reserve, 1980-95. Admitted to Virginia Bar, 1976; Maryland Bar, 1980. Member, Maryland State, Virginia State and Worcester County Bar Associations. Member, Maryland Association for Justice (formerly Maryland Trial Lawyers Association).
