Member, 2nd Judicial Circuit Bar Association; Kent County Bar Association (past president). Member, National District Attorneys' Association, 1983-90; Maryland State's Attorneys' Association (past treasurer & secretary), 1983-90. Board of Directors, Mid-Shore Pro Bono, Inc., 2005-. Past president, Chestertown Lions Club.
