Alderman, City of Annapolis, 1961-65. Member, Annapolis Planning and Zoning Commission, 1961-63. Attorney for City of Annapolis, 1969-79.

Born in Annapolis, Maryland, December 18, 1931. Attended Annapolis High School, Annapolis, Maryland; University of Maryland, 1948-50; University of Baltimore School of Law, J.D., 1954. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1954. Served in U.S. Army, 1954-56. Member, American Bar Association; District of Columbia Bar Association; Maryland State Bar Association (board of governors, 1979-80); Anne Arundel County Bar Association (treasurer, 1962-63; president, 1976-77); Maryland Municipal Attorneys Association (president, 1977-79). Member, Maryland Judicial Campaign Conduct Committee, 2005-16. Member, American Judicature Society. Member, Jewish War Veterans; B'nai B'rith; Amos Lodge-Masons. Community Achievement Award, B'nai B'rith, 1980. Human Relations Award, Frontier Club, 1980. Fellow, Maryland Bar Foundation, 1999. Member, Congregation Kneseth Israel, Annapolis, Maryland. Married; three children, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Died in Annapolis, Maryland, November 23, 2017.
