(economics), 1962; University of Maryland School of Law, J.D., magna cum laude, 1965 (order of the coif, national law school honor society). Law clerk to Judge Charles C. Marbury, Court of Appeals, 1965-66. Admitted to Maryland Bar, 1965. Associate, Duckett, Orem, Christie & Beckett, 1966-69. Partner, Sasscer, Clagett, Channing and Bucher, 1970-88 (associate, 1969-70). Member, American, District of Columbia, Maryland State and Prince George's County Bar Associations. Member, Maryland Bar Foundation, 1982-2024; American College of Trial Lawyers, 1985-2024; Marlborough Inn of Court, 1989-2024 (president, 1994-96). Died in Washington, DC, January 17, 2024.
